Beginners Portuguese
Course code: SPAN2010.
Course unit value: 1.0.
This beginners Portuguese course is compulsory for students taking BA in Latin American Studies and optional for other SELCS and Affiliate students. The course is taught over two terms, with four contact hours per week.
Please note: The maximum number of spaces on this course is 18 and preference will be given to students from the department of Spanish and Latin American Studies.
Assessment: coursework (30%); one unseen three-hour written examination (50%); and one fifteen-minute oral examination (20%).
