SELCS Panopticon Research Seminars
All seminars will be held on Thursdays in Foster Court 307 and begin at 5pm. Refreshments will follow at 6.30pm.
The seminars are open to all SELCS staff, research students, MA students and undergraduate students. Staff and students from other UCL departments and further afield are welcome to attend. Themes planned for this academic year will be Trauma, Traumatic Photography, The Book, Memory, Crime, Borders and Archival Sleuthing. We hope to add a couple more. All seminars include speakers from outside SELCS and indeed from outside UCL. The seminars will, we hope, bring colleagues from different departments and disciplines together, break moulds, get ideas sparking and encourage innovative grant proposals. Suitably inspiring refreshments will be provided.
