Scandinavian Studies

The department teaches the language, literature, history, linguistics and visual culture of Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American

Established in 1828 by Antonio Alcalá Galiano, the Department was one of the first in the UK and remains today a centre of academic excellence.
