Professor Gradon gave a fascinating presentation focusing on the phenomenon of the post-Columbine school shootings and the new "tool" used by the (soon-to-be) perpetrators to broadcast their homicidal ideas and plans: the Internet. The talk addressed the issue of potential preventive measures and covered the possible use of criminal analysis and Internet monitoring software as an early-warning system and also as a means of criminal and forensic prevention and post-event investigation.
