Vaseem Khan is the Business Development Manager for the Dept of Security and Crime Science, and also the Commercial Director of the national Security Science Doctoral Research Training Centre (UCL SECReT). He is currently managing the £7m funding for UCL SECReT and the 3mEUR funding for the FP7 project 'Resilient Buildings and Infrastructure Security.' He also has responsibility for the department's communications and branding strategy, course recruitment and for strategic industrial engagement. He also manages the annual International Crime Science Conference and the National Environmental Crime Conference. Vaseem has over a decade of experience in international business development and marketing consultancy and has worked with public limited companies in India and China. He has a degree in finance from the London School of Economics and is a qualified Chartered Marketer (awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing) since 2007.
