Kirstie Hampson is the Administrator for the JDI Centre for the Forensic Sciences, and a course administrator for the three MSc programmes in the Department of Security and Crime Science. She manages the communications, events and finances for the Centre for the Forensic Sciences, working closely with the Director Dr Ruth Morgan. She has an MSc in Forensic Archaeological Science from UCL and previously worked for the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Association for Science Education as a programme manager, organising and delivering continuing professional development for science teachers. Kirstie also volunteers as a STEM Ambassador working in schools, and used to volunteer with the Science Museum helping with family events.
