Welcome to UCL Scandinavian Studies! We teach and research the language, literature, history, linguistics and visual culture of Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway and Sweden from medieval times to the present day.   • The Department of Scandinavian Studies is part of the UCL School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS). The SELCS site contains information on undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, degree programme and course structure, and regulations for current students.
