Festival of British Archaeology
The Early Rice Project ran a full day of drop in activities as part of the Festival of British Archaeology.
Activities included:
- Using microscopes to look at how archaeobotanists can re-construct plant evidence
- Sieving and sorting seeds and other plant remains
- Comparing rice agriculture from upland dry farming to wet paddy fields (you may even get to build your own paddy field)
