Dr Juliet A. Ellis obtained a degree and Ph.D in biochemistry from the University of Bristol, and subsequently developed an interest in understanding the cellular mechanisms underlying disease. In 2009, she moved to The Institute of Child Health, UCL, as a research grants facilitator for the Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre, and in 2014 transferred to ERIO as a European Proposal Manager.
