For policy makers

UCL Public Policy seeks to engage on topics that are of relevance to policy professionals where UCL research can illuminate policy problems. Our team will: 

  • Provide the channels and means to consult UCL expertise 
  • Convene roundtable meetings bringing together researchers and policymakers to discuss topical issues, facilitating dialogue and networking  
  • Provide access to high-level research summaries (evidence notes) for policymakers, based on key UCL research activities 
  • Explain UCL research on platforms specifically for policymakers, such as our series of podcasts 
  • Run world-leading training and learning opportunities in the field of public policy, from professional development courses up to PhD level.

Through UCL Giving, you can: 

  • Provide life-changing scholarships for students 
  • Enable transformative research and the academics that drive it, e.g. by supporting a UCL faculty, school or department, or by supporting key areas of research such as cancer research and neuroscience

Two knowledge exchange projects, drawing on expertise from UCL and partners, are helping young people co-develop the mental health support they need most.

Phasecraft, a start-up led by academics from UCL and the University of Bristol, has raised £13 million in a new funding round.

Leading academics across a range of disciplines from eight universities are joining forces with partners from government, industry and charities to build a new hub for behavioural research co-led by UCL academics.
