IRDR Special Report 2013-01 UK-Japan Workshop and Lessons on Disaster Risk Reduction
In October 2012, the IRDR coordinated the UK delegation for a UK-Japan Joint workshop on Disaster Risk Reduction – Learning from the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake hosted by the British Embassy in Tokyo. In addition to participating in the workshop, delegates visited areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami.
