MRes Risk and Disaster Reduction

The programme aims to train the next generation of innovative, creative and objectively critical researchers, thinkers, practitioners and decision-makers in risk and disaster reduction. The programme may be completed as a standalone MRes, or it may be used as training towards subsequent completion of a PhD.

Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDip) and Certificate (PGCert) Programmes

These programmes comprise of taught courses with no independent research project and are aimed at students to want to increase their knowledge and are looking for courses with less of a time commitment than a full masters. Both can be studied as standalone programmes, or as a stepping stone towards a full MSc.

In addition, the PGDip offers a 5-year flexible learning path which allows students to complete the degree over 5 years.

IRDR Continuing Professional Development (CPD) 

Courses will be Launched in 2018. More details will be announced soon.
