All UCL Qatar programmes are currently open for applications. We are pleased to confirm an application deadline of 1 June 2015 for the Library Studies and Diploma programmes, and an extended deadline of 1 June 2015 for the Archaeology, Conservation and Museum Studies programmes.
We recommend that candidates apply as soon as possible before the deadline, particularly students from overseas who will require a visa to study in Qatar, and students who will be applying for any of the UCL Qatar Scholarships on offer.

Introduction to Cultural Communication and Museum Marketing added to Short Courses schedule

UCL Qatar’s Professional Development team have announced the addition of a new short course in Cultural Communication and Museum Marketing, to take place over two days, 4-5 December 2013.
Delivered by Mr Argyris Karapitsanis, Teaching Fellow for Museums, Heritage and Archaeology at UCL Qatar, the course aims to introduce participants to the importance and role of cultural communication and marketing, their applications in cultural organisations and more specifically museums. The course will begin with an introduction to basic definitions and applications of communication theories, mechanisms and methods and will move on to discuss how they can be adapted in museum settings and operations. No previous experience in cultural communication or marketing is required for this course.
