The core aim of this project is to inform environmental investment decision-making at airports by providing integrated environmental, economic and financial business cases for a range of environmental intervention options. In this research the main objective is to determine the effect of Airports’ environmental and social characteristics in the financial performance and productivity of airports.

The project analyses the concentration of port activity
(Incheon and Gwangyang) and the formation of hub ports in Korea. Using this
classification, the economic relations between a port and its surrounding regions are scrutinised.
