Teaching Times and Term Dates

In order to help those who are working during the programme, or who have to travel a long distance to attend seminars, teaching is organised mainly (though not exclusively) on Friday afternoons (from 12.30pm) and all day Saturday during term-time. On each day, there are normally three seminars (1.5 hours each).

Occasionally, seminars and other events are scheduled on weekday evenings and some optional tutorial events are also scheduled during the working week.

Dates for 2009-2010

Term 1
Induction meeting: Thursday 1st October 2009 12.30 - 2.30pm
Teaching: Friday 2nd October 2009 - Sunday 13th December 2009
Reading week - No seminars on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November 2009

Term 2
Teaching: Friday 15th January 2010 - Saturday 27th March 2010
Reading week - No teaching on Friday 19th or Saturday 20th February 2010

Term 3
Teaching : Friday 30th April 2010 - Saturday 12th June 2010

Note that the term dates for the MSc in Theoretical Psychoanalytic Studies are different from the UCL-wide term dates.
