Planning your session
We realise that families are busy, and so we will try to accommodate sessions at times that are convenient to you. We can work weekends and after school if that is most convenient. Lots of sessions take place during school holidays. We will always arrange visits at a time that is convenient to you.
Expenses
Families will be reimbursed for travel expenses and lunch.
What to expect during your visit
When you arrive at Chandler House please speak to the receptionist who should be expecting you. You will then be met by a researcher and taken to the ICL Research Centre. We are based on the ground floor of Chandler House, and the research centre is buggy and wheelchair accessible.
Sometimes families might wish to
explore the local area during their visit. There are a range
of attractions and activities nearby for people to explore, including the Brunswick
Centre and Lambs Conduit Street for food and shopping,
the British
Library, the British Museum, and the Charles Dickens Museum for culture,
and Coram’s
fields for outdoor fun. Please do not hesitate to ask us if we can
help to plan your trip.
