The new Dementia MSc is offered jointly by the UCL Division of Psychiatry and Institute of Neurology and tackles one of the biggest global health problems facing society today. It provides research-oriented and cutting-edge training in the study of dementia and its scientific basis, led by international leaders in the science and practice of dementia. Two specialised pathways, in mental health and in neuroscience, are offered.

Free online dementia course

The Many Faces of Dementia

UCL, who have recently been shown to be the leading institution for research into Dementia in England (Rand 2015), has announced a free four-week online course aiming to provide valuable insights into Dementia through the stories symptoms and science behind the less common diagnoses. The interactive MOOC (massive open online course) features interviews with world-leading experts (including Prof Nick Fox), people with dementia and their families as well as articles and discussion. 

In the application page, search for "Dementia" and then choose the "Mental Health" pathway.
