Speaker: Jennifer Dykxhoorn, Division of Psychiatry  Abstract:

Research has linked migrant status to increased risk of psychotic disorders, however, this association has not been consistently shown for non-psychotic disorders. Using data from Swedish registries, this research focuses on the differential impact that age-at-migration has on the risk of psychotic and non-psychotic disorders. Finally, this presentation will outline future research plans, which aim at disentangling effects of migration, ethnic minority status, and social networks on the risk of developing psychotic disorders
