Gateways Year 12 Conference
will be hosting interdisciplinary themed conferences for Year 12 students
during the week of Monday, July 15 2013.
These one-day events are based at UCL. The conference offers students a fantastic opportunity to experience university life, with lectures and seminars on different subjects. In addition, there will be sessions on applying to competitive universities such as UCL and opportunities to ask members of staff and current UCL students about applying and studying at UCL.
Last year’s conference had a human rights theme. Students were able to attend lectures and seminars given by leading UCL academics and PhD students on philosophy, law, archaeology and history.
We invite all Year 12 students who are currently attending a state school and who have been predicted grades that meet UCL entry requirements (minimum ABB) to apply individually via our online application form. Applications and further details of our Gateways Conference will be available in the Spring Term.
