in2scienceUK Summer Placements

in2scienceUK is a scheme that supports able students from groups that are currently underrepresented at university to gain science placement opportunities over the summer. The programme aims to provide students with a two week placement working alongside practising scientists, giving them an insight into scientific research at UCL and the Institute of Child Health.

The in2scienceUK scheme is more than just a placement scheme. Students are also mentored with the aim of improving their communication skills, interview techniques, personal statements and UCAS forms - all from a university perspective. You will also gain an insight into scientific research at UCL.

Last year placements were available in:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Engineering
