Mature Students' Tasters and Information Evening

On Wednesday, 9th of November 2016, UCL will hold its annual Mature Students' Tasters and Information Evening, providing prospective mature students with the opportunity to:

  • visit UCL
  • find out about Mature Student funding
  • gain tips for writing personal statements
  • attend a 40-minute subject taster session
  • meet current mature students


Subjects included in the taster sessions for this event are:

  • Nutrition and Medical Sciences
  • Population Health
  • Law
  • Educational Studies
  • Security and Crime Sciences

This event will be held on the UCL Campus on the 9th of November 2016, 4pm-7pm.

Mature Students' Personal Statement Evening

The Mature Students’ Personal Statement Evening on Thursday, 24th of November 2016 allows students to design and draft effective personal statements. Students will gain advice from academic staff on how to write an effective personal statement from a university’s perspective, and participate in workshops that allow students to plan and begin drafting their own personal statements.

This event will be held on the UCL Campus on the 24th of November 2016, 4pm-7pm.

Eligibility criteria

These evenings are aimed at students who will be aged 21 or over at the time of beginning their first (undergraduate) degree.
