Black Achievement


UCL is delighted to host Envision@UCL, a one day event for African Caribbean young women in Years 10 - 12 who are interested in learning more about university and future career options.

The event will be held on Wednesday 5 July 2017, 9:30am - 4:00pm.

Why attend?

The event is an opportunity to: 

  • Gain valuable advice to help you to plan your future.
  • Participate in a subject taster session led by a UCL academic.
  • Develop practical skills to help you prepare for university life.
  • Meet current students and find out more about UCL.
  • Speak to professionals about potential career paths.

The event is free to attend for successful applicants, lunch will be provided and travel costs will be covered if required.

To attend this event, you must be:

  • a prospective female student from an African, Caribbean or mixed African Caribbean background
  • attending a state school or academy in the UK, in Years 10 - 12.

Priority will be given to applicants who are on track to meet UCL entry requirements (minimum of ABB at A Level or 34 points at IB, plus a minimum of grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics).

Successful applicants will be expected to attend the entire day between 9:30am and 4:00pm.
