UCL Outreach Activities

Activities Menu

At UCL we offer an exciting and comprehensive programme of activities and assistance for schools and colleges. Our aim is to harness the knowledge and expertise established at UCL in order to provide a top service for your students. We hope to broaden and inspire minds as well as to foster a genuine interest in university life and study.

Depending on the programme and the nature of our collaboration, venues will range from your classroom to the grounds and lecture halls of our central London campus.

UCL offers to schools and colleges services which include:

  • UCL students as tutors and mentors
  • visits to UCL for Year 8-12 students
  • masterclasses for Year 12 students
  • talks at schools by UCL staff on academic subjects, advice on the UCAS procedure, student finance or general HE topics
  • e-mentoring
  • Museums and Collections learning programme.

UCL works in partnership with schools and colleges across most London boroughs and are keen to extend our reach with most schools in London. We currently enjoy a fruitful Partnership for Excellence with City and Islington Sixth Form College in Islington.

Our Activity Booklet provides details of all our programmes. Each page presents listings of activities that are arranged in advance and also those that are open for booking.

You will find on these pages further details of our widening participation activities and the contact details of the members of our staff who run them.

Please do contact us if you think that your school or college could benefit from any of the services which we can offer.
