Studying at UCL means you will have access to some of the best academic facilities and resources available. Whether you choose to study the Arts or the Sciences, from Anthropology to Zoology, UCL provides you with the technical and intellectual resources to achieve the most from your studies.
UCL Library
With over two million books and subscriptions to over 12,000 journals in a combination of electronic and print formats, UCL Library Services provides access to a vast range of resources across all degree subjects taught. There are 15 specialist libraries based in and around campus with valuable and historic material housed in Special Collections. UCL Library Services seeks constantly to extend and improve its provision for all students.
Computer and IT Facilities
UCL offers a wide range of IT facilities in open-access cluster rooms and student residences. These provide over 150 general and specialist software packages. Many departments also have their own student computer facilities and computer network points are available in individual rooms from most UCL residences.
UCL's wireless network (RoamNet) provides secure web and email access in many locations across UCL, including UCL's picturesque quadrangle – why not make the most of the sunshine and work outdoors?
IT training is provided through scheduled sessions or online courses.
