Deferred entry

We welcome applications from students who are proposing to spend a pre-university (gap) year engaged in constructive activity such as a Year in Industry, whether in the UK or abroad.

Our rules allow you to apply for deferred entry and your application will be considered a year ahead of the normal application timetable. Please be sure to include your reasons for wishing to defer your entry in your personal statement, as this will aid our Admissions Selectors in their considerations.

Note: Please be aware that it is not possible to be considered for deferred entry if you are applying for a Fine Art programme.
