Deferred entry

We welcome applications from students who are proposing to spend a pre-university (gap) year engaged in constructive activity such as a Year in Industry, whether in the UK or abroad.

Our rules allow you to apply for deferred entry and your application will be considered a year ahead of the normal application timetable. Please be sure to include your reasons for wishing to defer your entry in your personal statement, as this will aid our Access & Admissions Selectors in their considerations.

Note: Please be aware that it is not possible to be considered for deferred entry if you are applying for a Fine Art programme.
