UCL Marshall Scholarships
|Important Information for all Applicants|
Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. As future leaders, with a lasting understanding of British society, Marshall Scholars strengthen the enduring relationship between the British and American people, their governments and their institutions.
UCL and the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission (MACC) have agreed to offer one UCL Marshall Scholarship annually for US students intending to study for any graduate degree at UCL.
- Fulfil the eligibility criteria required for a Marshall Scholarship and have been selected for a Marshall Scholarship;
- Have been selected by the MACC Committee to study at UCL; and
- Have followed the usual admission procedures at UCL and be holding an offer of admission to pursue graduate studies in any subject at UCL.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and potential. Financial circumstances are not taken into account.
Value: Benefits and Duration
The scholarships consist of full tuition fees funded by UCL and maintenance costs funded by the MACC further details and rates available from the Marshall Scholarships website. Scholarships are tenable for up to two years of a graduate degree programme.
Applications must be submitted through the MACC.
Potential candidates must ensure that they submit a full scholarship application by the deadline irrespective of whether an offer of admission to UCL has reached them or not. The UCL Student Funding Office will check UCL systems to confirm whether the scholarship applicant nominated by MACC holds an offer of admission. Scholarship applicants without an admissions offer will be excluded from the competition. It is for this reason that we recommend you apply for admission as early as possible.
