CONACYT UCL Graduate Fellowship

UCL part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with CONACYT for Mexican scholars. These awards are available for PhD and Master's programmes.

UCL will provide a 30% fee contribution for postgraduate research students across all faculties.

UCL will also provide a 30% fee contribution for postgraduate taught students in the following faculties

  • Arts & Humanities
  • Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment
  • Brain Sciences
  • Engineering Sciences
  • Institute of Education
  • Laws
  • Mathematics & Physical Sciences
  • Population Health Sciences
  • Social & Historical Sciences
  • plus the Division of Surgery & Interventional Science in the Faculty of Medical Sciences

Please note: Students studying at the UCL Institute of Education who started their programme in 2015 or earlier will not be eligible for the UCL scholarship contribution, as they are covered by the pre-existing CONACYT/IOE agreement.

Applications for these awards should be made directly to CONACYT, following their established procedures. Applicants must apply directly to UCL for a place on a programme of study at the same time. Applicants selected by CONACYT, who are also offered a place at UCL, will then automatically qualify for the fellowship.

For further information on the application process, please refer to the CONACYT website
