Margaret Richardson Scholarship

A scholarship of £2,800 is available to MPhil/PhD students in German.

Fielden Research Scholarship

A scholarship of £500 is available to M.Phil./PhD research in German Language and Literature

Eleanor Grove Scholarships for Women Students

Founded in 1912 by the will of Miss Rosa Morison, Lady Superintendent of Women Students, 1883-1912, to commemorate Eleanor Grove, First Principal of College Hall, Byng Place, 1882-1900, and Life Governor of University College, and for the promotion and encouragement of the study of and proficiency in German.

Two scholarships of £950, tenable for one session or part of a session, are available in each session to woman UCL students who have completed at least five terms of study within UCL's Faculty of Arts and Humanities. The scholarship aim to assist students reading for a higher degree, or - in special cases - to enable a BA student to pursue a German course abroad.

The application deadline for all the above scholarships is 25th May (or the next working day, should the 25th fall on a weekend or public holiday).
