Year 12 Masterclasses

Masterclasses offer you a taste of learning at UCL to help you decide what area of study you would like to pursue at university.  The masterclasses are entertaining, hands-on sessions run by UCL academics and PhD students.

Year 12 Summer School

UCL runs a number of Summer Schools for students in Year 12 with the aim of giving you the opportunity to experience university life at UCL and the degree programmes we offer.

UCL Year 12 Conference

These are interdisciplinary conferences, designed to give you the opportunity cover a subject area from different academic perspectives.

UCL Horizons Year 12 Information Events

UCL Horizons run two annual Information Evenings for Year 12 students attending non-selective state schools.  The session held in October focuses on degree programmes and a personal statement session will be held February.

Summer Challenge is a six-week academic course on Wednesdays in June and July.

Taster Courses

Each year during the spring and summer UCL provides a series of taster courses for year 12 students as part of the taster course programme organised by the University of London.

UCL Horizons Year 13 UCAS Clinic

UCL Horizons runs an after-school personal statement clinic every September to support Year 13 students from non-selective state schools who intend to apply to UCL.
