UCL Horizons Year 10 Saturday School

The Year 10 Saturday School is UCL Horizons' largest programme. It is a long term academic enrichment programme for 100 students from inner London non-selective state schools.

Programme structure

Saturday School runs at the UCL Bloomsbury Campus on Saturday mornings from 10am-1pm. Students attend four terms of five weeks from November to June.

Every term students take two modules (see below).

Animal Biology	Taught by staff from the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology	Term Three and Four

Recruitment and eligibility

The Saturday School begins its fourth year in 2012-13. 

Applications for 2012-13 are now closed. Applications for 2013-14 will open in Summer 2013.

Please note that we only recruit from a selected list of target schools in the inner London boroughs, and applicants must meet our academic and social selection criteria. We do not accept applications that come directly from a student without a teacher reference, and we may not accept applications from students attending schools that are not on our target list.
