Engineering mature students' masterclass

This masterclass was designed for prospective mature students who are interested in studying Engineering at university.

Engineering is the application of science to the solution of complex problems. The diversity of approaches used is unique, spanning qualitative, design-oriented methods and quantitative methods in common with hard sciences.

This diversity is also mirrored in the paths of professional formation, and also in the distinct cultural approaches to engineering in countries like Japan and the United States. This masterclass attempted to give a flavour of this broad diversity, especially in view of the broad range of experiences of mature students.
