Information for prospective students

Welcome to our events and activity pages for Years 7 to 11 students and mature students. Each section will list the activities by year group that are on offer for you to register for.

Years 7-11 activities

Activities on offer for years 7-11 are aimed to give you a better understanding of what’s on offer to study at both university and UCL. Many of our activities encourage you to get involved; for example, sharing your ideas as well as learning about different ideas and opinions. You also will be given the opportunity to develop your study skills further.

Years 12-13 activities

Activities for Years 12 and 13 students are designed to give you a better understanding of university life at a research intensive university such as UCL. Our activities for Years 12 and 13 students gives you the opportunity to meet current UCL students, learn about a subject in more detail and the interdisciplinary nature of UCL’s degree programmes. Many of our activities include a session on UCAS and personal statements.

Mature Students activities

In 2012/13 we are piloting two new set of events for mature students. We will be holding an Information Session for Biosciences, Chemistry, Natural Sciences and Physics and a range of masterclasses. We hope that both of these events will give you the opportunity to find out more about life at UCL as well as apply to UCL.
