Why should I become a student ambassador?
The Student Ambassador Scheme gives you the opportunity to get involved in the local community, within UCL and in London.
Being a student ambassador will boost your CV, provide excellent work experience and the opportunity to develop a range of skills:
- communication with a variety of people;
- presentation skills;
- increased self-confidence;
- team working;
- time management.
Joining the student ambassador scheme will also give you the opportunity to meet new people from across the university.
Below are just a few of the reasons why students joined the Student Ambassador Scheme
"I saw this an opportunity to give something back to my university by promoting it and to my community by informing students." Nitisha, Biochemistry
"I wanted to help to improve the educational chances for young people from a disadvantaged background." Florian, European Social and Political Studies
"I wanted to meet new people outside of my course." Holly, Law
"I think it's really important to show that University
is a welcoming place to all students, no matter what their background
is." Alice, History of Art
"Meeting and talking to people is what I really enjoy." Hoang, Mathematics
"I was interested in learning more about UCL and this seemed like a good way to do it" Ian, European Social and Political Studies
