Undergraduate Programmes

General undergraduate entry requirements
UCL accepts A-levels, International Baccalaureate (IB), and a number of other qualifications for direct entry to its undergraduate programmes. To find out whether UCL accepts qualifications from your home country please select your country and view the ‘Entry requirements’ tab.

Entry requirements by undergraduate programme
For the entry requirements for individual degree programmes, please select your programme from the undergraduate prospectus.

Graduate Taught Programmes

General entry requirements for taught master’s degrees
In the UK the grading system for undergraduate degrees is as follows:

First-class honours (1st class)
Upper second-class honours (2:1)
Lower second-class honours (2:2)
Third-class honours (3rd)

Preparatory and Foundation courses

The Centre for Languages and International Education holds a number of courses designed for international students who want to prepare for high level study in the UK.
