Finding Jobs and Internships

UCL International JobOnline:
Are you looking for opportunities outside the UK; in your home country or in countries where you are work eligible? Discover opportunities outside the UK, including full-time, part-time, vacation and voluntary positions with International JobOnline. This service is available exclusively to UCL students and staff.

UCL JobAlert:
Register now with UCL JobAlert - the official careers email service for UCL students and graduates! It brings you job vacancies, exclusive news, advice and first notification of all events run by The Careers Group and by UCL Careers Service, targeted to your preferences. All you need to do is register online and we will do the rest.

UCL JobOnline:
Full-time, part-time & vacation, internship, voluntary, work experience and graduate scheme opportunities mainly in the UK, advertised exclusively to UCL students, or to students at all colleges within The Careers Group, University of London.

The Careers Group, University of London, JobShop:
The Careers Group, University of London’s JobShop is also a great resource for part-time, temporary, term-time and holiday jobs.

UCL Vacancies:
UCL is one of the biggest employers of UCL graduates. Vacancies at UCL are published on the HR department pages.

Careers Events

UCL Careers Service also runs numerous events during the year, which are all open to all UCL students. There is also a series of events specifically tailored for international students, details of which are on the International Students' Events Programme page. 

Careers Advice

If you would like to see a Careers Adviser, you may choose to use any of the following services:

Quick Query - These 10-15mins sessions are ideal for a quick CV and application checks!

Quick Query Times - Mon- Thurs 10-12 noon (term time only), just turn up. Mon- Thurs 2- 4.15pm, booking available from 9:30am on the day.  To book, call our quick query hotline on 020 7866 3602. Times may vary.

Quick Query by Email- You can email your question via an online form at www.ucl.ac.uk/careers/qqbyemail/ and you will get personalised advice direct to your inbox within 2 working days.

Careers Discussions- These hour long sessions allow you to discuss any career question with a careers adviser. After the career discussion, half-hour follow-up discussions are available if required. To help you better prepare in your job search, the Careers Service also runs Mock Interviews and Aptitude Test. Please see the Current Students section for more information.

The Careers Information Library (located at the Careers Service on the 4th floor of the ULU Building on Malet St) also possesses valuable resources to help you in your job search and job management such as: career choice leaflets, gaduate destinations data, Working Overseas folders and books, reference books on working in different countries -including sample CVs. Much of the information is available FREE to take away. Please do not hesistate to ask for assistance from one of our experienced information staff, if you cannot find what you are looking for.
