UKIERI Study India Programme 2013
26 June 2013
UKIERI Study India Programme Applications Are Now Open
The UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI) Study India Programme, 2013 will take place in New Delhi and Mumbai between 18 August to 15 September. UKIERI has been running the Study India Programme since 2009 and till now 718 UK students have visited India from 106 universities across the UK!

IndoGenius, in partnership with the UK India Business Council, Heriot-Watt University and Delhi University, will deliver UKIERI Study India this year.
It is open to all UK & EU students on all full-time undergraduate courses and designed to give participants a comprehensive and immersive introduction to India. There will be two groups of 100 students, each visiting for three weeks with all participants visiting both Delhi and Mumbai. The programme includes an internship at a company or NGO. UKIERI fund all accommodation, food and local transportation costs as well as tuition. Students have to pay for their own international flights and any additional spending money.
UKIERI Study India 2013 will introduce UK students to Indian culture, history, tradition, politics and the economy: with the aim of creating better cross-cultural understanding and facilitating work, cultural and intellectual exchanges between the two countries.
If you would like to find out more, please join us for an information workshop about the programme on Monday 1st July 2013 2-4pm at UCL in the Bentham B01 Main Lecture Theatre.
It really is the experience of a life-time for participating students. Internships at top Indian, British and Multi-National companies as well as various NGOs, are a real highlight.
The application form and programme information are available on www.studyindia.co.uk and on the Study India Facebook page.
