In order to study abroad you must be registered for one of the following LLB programmes: Law with French Law, Law with German Law, Law with Hispanic Law or Law with Another Legal System. The period of study abroad will be one year and it will take place during the third year of your four-year programme.
You will receive guidance about planning and preparing for
your year abroad from your department during the autumn term of your
second year. Contact your Study Abroad Tutor for further details.
During the spring term of your second year, you will
participate in the Study Abroad Preparation Programme, the successful
completion of which is a prerequisite for progression to your year
abroad.
With the assistance of your department, you will prepare your application to the institution at which you wish to study abroad. Application deadlines will differ according to the institution you are applying to - contact your Study Abroad Tutor for details.
