UCL Study Abroad Bursaries

The applicationn for the Study Abroad Bursary for 2013/14 is now closed. Students will be notified in May if they have been successful.

UCL wishes to provide study abroad opportunities for an increasing number of students. For this reason a bursary fund, supported by UCL Futures, has been established to provide an additional source of financial support for students who wish to undertake a study abroad placement. In 2012/13, 66 Study Abroad Bursaries were awarded.

Eligibility

UCL Study Abroad Bursaries are open to undergraduates taking a compulsory or optional study abroad placement administered by the Study Abroad Team. They are not available to Medical students undertaking electives.

Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need and will usually be restricted to a maximum of £300 for students intending to study in Europe and £500 for students intending to study elsewhere.

The deadline for applications is 4pm on 26 April 2013. These should be handed in in person to the Student Centre.
