Thailand

There is a long tradition of Thai students studying at UCL. In the academic year 2012/13 there are 147 students from Thailand enrolled on graduate and undergraduate degree programmes. In November 2006 UCL was delighted to sign an agreement with the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) in Bangkok to facilitate the admission of students and government officials who have been awarded a scholarship under the Royal Thai Government Scholarship Programme. We are pleased to be working so closely with the OCSC on this long-term initiative enabling Thai scholars to study at UCL across a range of Masters and Doctoral programmes.

Ban Chiang

UCL returns ancient objects to Thailand

Sixteen objects, thought to originate from the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Ban Chiang in Thailand, will be returned to the Thai Department of Fine Arts by the UCL Institute of Archaeology. More...
