Entry Requirements

Please note that the following information is only a general guide. In addition, other factors may be taken into consideration such as relevant work experience. Please refer to the Undergraduate Prospectus or the Graduate Prospectus for further information.

Undergraduate Study

For entry into UCL’s undergraduate degree programmes, students who hold A levels or the International Baccalaureate with good grades will be considered. The Chilean secondary school qualification does not meet the general entrance requirement for entry onto an undergraduate degree programme at UCL. To be eligible for consideration a student must have successfully completed at least one or preferably two years at a recognised Chilean university.

Students, who have successfully completed a recognised international undergraduate foundation programme, including UCL University Preparatory Certificates will also be considered.

For specific entry requirements for individual programmes, students are best advised to contact the Undergraduate Admissions Tutor as listed in the Undergraduate Prospectus.

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language you will also need to satisfy UCL’s English Language Requirements. A variety of English language programmes are offered at the UCL Language Centre.

Graduate Study

The Licenciado degree with good grades taken over at least four years of full-time study from the top universities in Chile is acceptable for admission to a graduate programme at UCL.

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language you will also need to satisfy UCL’s English Language Requirements. A variety of English language programmes are offered at the UCL Language Centre.
