United Arab Emirates
A number of students from the UAE have studied at UCL over the years. In the academic year 2012/13 there are 48 students from the UAE enrolled on graduate and undergraduate degree programmes at UCL.
| Lotifa Begum is a third-year Politics and East European Studies BA student. She has been selected to be a member of the Education Without Borders (EWB) World Student Organising Committee. EWB 2011, hosted by the Higher Colleges of Technology, will take place in Abu Dhabi in March 2011. Lotifa has recently returned from the first meeting of the World Student Organising Committee. Sara Mohammad from the United Arab Emirates is a recent UCL graduate who studied here on an EDAAD scholarship. Sara completed the UCL University Preparatory Certificate for Science and Engineering (UPSCE) graduating top of her class and went on to take the Civil Engineering BSc at UCL. |
