Marram Al Sabbagh Profile Pic
Maram is a second-year MSci Natural Sciences student on the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program from Bahrain.

Maram writes:

"UCL is a top university and has an internationally weighted reputation. There is a wide range of courses offered to students and Natural Sciences is a new course that only few universities offer. The academic description of the course and the location of the university in central London have attracted me to come to UCL. The academic knowledge I am acquiring from my studies and from different talks organised by the university is incredible. All the university staff and professors are nice and helpful, and I met students from different places around the world and made many good friends. There are lots of activities one can be involved in here at UCL. I am a volunteer in the UCL Student Tutoring and Mentoring Programme and I help teach students in a secondary school in London. Frances Gardner House, the UCL hall of residence I live in, is a nice and comfortable place and is within walking distance to the university. All students and staff in the residence are friendly too. UCL has gone beyond my expectations and choosing UCL has definitely been a wise decision."
