There is a long tradition of South Korean students studying at UCL. In the academic year 2012/13 there are 240 South Korean students enrolled on graduate and undergraduate degree programmes at UCL.
UCL Links with South Korea
The Department of Physics and Astronomy have a general agreement of collaboration with the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
Sungsik Lee is a winner of both Overseas Research Scholarship and Graduate Research Scholarship, doing his PhD in London Centre for Nanotechnology/Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
