Xi Jin is from China and recently graduated with an MRes in Biomedicine from the Institute of Child health.
Xi Jin writes:
"UCL
is a famous and top rank university in the world. This university has a
high reputation for its international view and culture which admits
students from different backgrounds. I chose UCL not only for the above
mentioned merits but also for its strong strength in the area of life
sciences, especially biomedicine. One year of study in UCL is really a
treasure for me. Except for the peer-knowledge I have learned, I have
also experienced fantastic life over my expectations here. The
professors and university staff showed great patience and hospitality
to help me acclimatize to and enjoy the new environment. I attended the
UCL Chinese society and made many new friends. The hall Langton Close
where I lived organized many activities to make the residents get
familiar with each other.
I will hide my deep affection
in my heart and do my best to promote UCL's image. Today, I am proud of
this university, tomorrow this university should be proud of me."
