Student Profile: Ademide 

Ademide is a Chemical Engineering BEng student on a UCL-AET Undergraduate International Outreach Bursary.

"I chose UCL because it's one of the best universities in the world. It is a global university and represents what the world will look like in the future.

In addition, I have been fortunate to receive one of the UCL-AET Undergraduate International Outreach Bursaries. Being given the opportunity to attend one of the world’s most prestigious universities in the knowledge that my finances are taken care of is a huge relief to me.

I chose this degree because it represents the direction my home country is taking; petroleum. Chemical Engineering is a very challenging and diverse course – this suits my inquisitive nature.

The facilities at UCL are very impressive. Every department has something different, facilities are up to date with more buildings being constructed, and this speaks volumes about UCL’s commitment to excellence.

Ultimately, I know that I am securing a good chance for my future and I am grateful for this opportunity."
