Nigeria

There is a long tradition of Nigerian students studying at UCL. In the academic year 2012/13 there are 139 students from Nigeria enrolled on graduate and undergraduate degree programmes at UCL.

A reception for Nigerian alumni of UCL was held recently in the rooftop cafe at the British Council offices in Maitama, Abuja. The reception was part of a wider visit to Nigeria by the UCL Pro-Provost for Africa, Professor Volker Sommer, and Neil Green of the UCL International Office. Read more>>>

Muttaqha Rabe Darma, Executive Secretary of the PTDF, and Professor Michael Worton, UCL Vice-Provost (Academic and International) sign the agreement at UCL.

UCL and the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) have recently signed an agreement that will see more Nigerians funded to study at UCL.
