Space and Climate Physics

UCL's Mullard Space Science Laboratory is a world-leading research organisation and is the UK's largest university-based space research group. In a unique environment at the forefront of space science research and space instrumentation development, we work closely with international collaborators in academic institutions across the world, major space agencies and industry partners such as NASA, ESA, JAXA and Astrium. Our students have opportunities to interact with colleagues both in academia and industry through conference attendance and collaboration, not only at MSSL but also nationally and internationally, thereby building networks and acquiring valuable transferable skills for the future. Former students have gone on to pursue successful careers in academia, the space industry, government funded research, public policy and engagement, teaching, finance and IT.
