Cultural Heritage (UCL Qatar)
UCL Qatar, located in Doha at the heart of the Gulf's burgeoning heritage sector, welcomed its first students in 2012. Established in partnership with Qatar Foundation and Qatar Museums, the department is a world-class research-led facility, focusing on the cultures and societies of the Middle East, and including the study of Islamic material culture and early technology. With students from over 40 countries enrolled across four graduate degree programmes, UCL Qatar provides a truly unique experience for students seeking to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the region. Graduates are equipped to be at the forefront of their professions through a combination of theoretical and practical training, including extended placements at museums and heritage sites across the region.
