Space and Climate Physics


UCL’s Mullard Space Science Laboratory is the UK’s largest university space science group. We offer a unique environment at the forefront of space science research and space instrumentation development, and we work closely with international collaborators in academic institutions across the world, and major space agencies and space industry partners such as NASA, ESA, JAXA and Astrium, for example. Our students have many opportunities to interact with international colleagues both in academia and industry through conference attendance and collaboration, both at MSSL and outside, which builds important contacts and promotes transferable skills development for the future. Former students have gone on to pursue successful careers in academia, the space industry, government funded research, public policy and engagement, teaching, finance and IT.
