Early Modern Studies

Our focus is on interdisciplinarity, with a whole geographical, linguistic and global reach offered by the expertise and specialisms of our teaching staff. You will have the opportunity to study alongside over 40 early modernists working in departments across UCL who are associated with the programme through the Centre for Early Modern Exchanges.

We offer a rich research culture, with conferences, workshops and a seminar series in which leading international experts are invited to speak. Our world-leading training in research provides insight and understanding into the crucial theoretical and methodological issues affecting early modern studies.

Subject: Philosophy, Faculty: Arts and Humanities

Alumni View
